Legal Advice on Turkish Law in English: Written WhatsApp Consultations

If you need legal advice on Turkish law in English, a written WhatsApp consultation can help you understand your documents, rights and available options. This service is particularly useful if you live abroad or do not speak Turkish.

I provide legal consultations on Turkish law in English and Turkish. Through a scheduled written WhatsApp consultation, you can explain your circumstances, submit agreed documents and receive answers to your legal questions.

WhatsApp consultations take place exclusively through written messages. Payment is required in advance, and your appointment is confirmed separately after the scope of the consultation has been agreed and payment has been checked.

Telephone and in-person consultations can also be requested as separate appointment types through the appointment page.

What Can a Legal Consultation Cover?

A consultation may concern an existing dispute, a proposed transaction, a contract or legal proceedings already underway. Matters within my practice include contractual disputes, debt recovery, money transfers, tenancy, employment, insurance, divorce, child custody and enforcement proceedings.

You may need to understand a Turkish court document, consider your options following a disputed payment, review a contractual issue or ask questions before taking legal action.

The consultation is intended to identify the relevant legal issues, explain the options available on the information provided and help you understand the next steps. Where relevant, we can discuss evidential difficulties, procedural requirements and deadlines.

The subject matter, questions and any documents to be reviewed are agreed before the consultation begins.

How Do I Request a Written WhatsApp Consultation?

You can request an appointment through the appointment page. Please select the written WhatsApp consultation option and provide a brief summary of your legal issue.

Your enquiry should include the names of the people or companies involved, your WhatsApp number with its country code, your preferred language and any approaching hearing or deadline.

This information allows an initial assessment of whether I can assist and a conflict-of-interest check. Following that assessment, the proposed scope, fee, payment details and arrangements for the consultation will be communicated to you.

Selecting a time slot is an appointment request. It does not, by itself, confirm acceptance of the consultation. Separate confirmation will be sent once the necessary arrangements have been completed.

Advance Payment and Your Payment Receipt

The consultation fee is communicated before payment, together with the agreed scope and any document review included in the service.

Payment must be completed before substantive legal advice or the agreed document review begins. After making payment, please send your payment receipt to the WhatsApp number provided, together with your name and appointment date.

Your appointment will be confirmed separately after payment has been checked. Please follow the payment and confirmation instructions sent to you before the consultation.

An initial enquiry is used to assess suitability and arrange the service. Detailed answers to legal questions and case-specific document assessments are provided within the paid consultation.

What Happens During the Written Consultation?

At the confirmed appointment time, the consultation takes place through written WhatsApp messages. You can explain the matter and ask questions within the agreed scope, and I will respond in writing.

This format allows you to refer back to the explanations and answers after the consultation. It can also be useful when discussing Turkish documents in English.

The WhatsApp service does not include telephone calls, voice messages or video calls. It is a scheduled written question-and-answer consultation. If you prefer to speak by telephone or meet in person, please request the corresponding appointment type.

Where a reliable answer requires further information or additional documents, I will explain what is needed. The consultation does not provide unlimited ongoing messaging; further questions or new matters may require a separate arrangement.

Are Documents Reviewed as Part of the Consultation?

Document review depends on the scope agreed beforehand. Relevant documents may include contracts, payment receipts, correspondence, notices and court papers.

Before payment, we will identify which documents are to be reviewed and whether that review is included in the consultation fee. Extensive files, additional documents or work requiring further research may need a separate scope and fee.

Please provide documents in a readable format and identify the points you would like addressed. If you have received an official notice or court document, include the date and method of receipt, together with any deadline stated in the document.

The written WhatsApp exchange is not a separately prepared formal legal opinion. If you require a structured written opinion, a detailed report or another standalone document, this should be agreed as an additional service.

How Should You Prepare?

Prepare a short chronological account of the events and the questions you would like answered. Explain what outcome you are seeking and identify any steps already taken, such as sending a notice, contacting a bank or starting proceedings.

Please mention urgent deadlines when making your appointment request. Do not assume that submitting a request or sending documents means that a deadline is being monitored or that action is being taken on your behalf.

Provide the relevant parties’ names for the conflict-of-interest check before sending extensive or sensitive case materials. Once the consultation has been accepted, follow the instructions provided for submitting the agreed documents.

Does the Consultation Include Legal Representation?

The consultation provides advice within its agreed scope. It does not itself include drafting or filing a claim, submitting a criminal complaint, commencing enforcement proceedings, contacting the other party or representing you before a court or authority.

If further legal work is required, we can discuss a separate engagement, its scope and fees, and any necessary documents or power of attorney.

This allows you to consider the advice first and then decide whether to instruct me to undertake additional work.

Telephone and In-Person Consultations

If a written WhatsApp consultation does not suit your needs, you can request a telephone consultation or an in-person appointment in Ankara through the appointment page.

These are separate consultation formats. Their scope, fee and arrangements will be confirmed before the consultation takes place.
